My passion since I was little has been to be a performer. I always knew this is what I wanted out of my life and I have had so many great experiences that have put me where I am today. I feel most comfortable when I am on stage entertaining people. There is no better feeling in the world than to look out into an audience of 10 people, or 10,000 people knowing that all eyes are on you, and your job is to make them happy.
I will never forget my first appearance as a performer…I was seven. The Woodstock opera house stage seemed so big to me as I played the role of one of the children in the musical Evita. After that experience, I couldn’t get enough! I began singing in my home town for local festivals and parties. As I began to get older, people started asking me to sing at their weddings and company picnics. The more performances I did, the more I knew I had to make this career happen.
I decided to go to college at St. Ambrose University where I studied music. Throughout my college career I took every opportunity to showcase myself and my passion.
I had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at an arena football game which was truly amazing. I also traveled to Nashville on one account to compete in the Trowbridge Symposium – Nashville Star Search Competition where I won the title “Best New Talent!” I think my favorite experience thus far has been singing at Country Thunder in the Colgate Country Showdown. I continue to take every opportunity that comes my way, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of family and friends to help me along my journey!
